Granite Man: For the first time in four years, I began to compete in regulated triathlons again. On August 15th the town of Wolfeboro, NH hosted the Granite Man. My entire family, including my cousins participated in the sprint triathlon; distances were 0.75 mile swim, 15 mile bike, 4.2 mile run. I placed 17th overall and fifth in my age group (18-29) Granite Man Results

Lakes Region: The last triathlon of the New England season was a week later on September 27th. The Lakes Region Triathlon, formerly known as the Moose Man Triathlon, held at Newfound Lake NH, was an international/olympic distance tri. With a 1.5 km (0.9 mile) swim, a 51.5 km (32 mile bike) and a 10 km (6.2 mile) run. The bike was a bit longer than a traditional olympic triathlon of 40 km or 25 miles. I placed 7th overall out of 67 competitors and 1st in my age group by default. I was very happy with each event especially the Lakes Region Tri, which was a great way to finish out the season. I took a two day break and I am currently training for next year, with an overall goal to compete in a full Ironman triathlon. Lakes Region Results
